Behaviour and executive function

Updated: Jul 11

The Brain science has shown us that the frontal lobes, particularly the dorsolateral area, are very important for regulating behaviour and executive functioning. Strategies and ways to improve such behaviour:

-visual schedules implemented by your therapist. We use visual schedule apps to help this

-clear and simple directions and instructions

-reinforcement and motivational activities and items to give your child or young person an incentive to control their behaviour

-calming self regulating teaching skills

-training tasks using small steps

Dr Jenny and her team will help improve your child or young persons behaviour quickly and well in a codesigned and collaborative manner
